Sara Wegrzyn is an upbeat, encouraging therapist, and approaches therapy from a CBT perspective. She believes that with increased empowerment to control and change thoughts or behaviors that cause impairment, each individual can change their life. Therapy is about getting the kind of assistance and skills that YOU want, in order to achieve the quality of life desired.

Sara approaches sessions with a laid back and equal dynamic, in order to build an open and accepting therapeutic relationship. Sara has specific interest in working with adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD and other related disorders. Some concerns addressed include, but are not limited to, low self-esteem, self-mutilation, suicidal ideation, uncontrollable worry, defiance, suffering relationships with others, anger, grief/loss, trauma, life transitions and families with suffering dynamics.
Sara has a Master of Arts degree in counselor education from The University of Toledo, and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She has worked with all populations and ages, and has had experience with treatment of children and adolescents in group therapy, partial hospitalization groups, home based and individual therapy. Sara has also worked with adults in home based, individual and family therapy. Sara is a wife and mother, and is also a dance teacher, teaching tap and jazz to kids and adolescents of all ages!
