Dr. Pawloski was born and raised in the Toledo area. She received her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University. She majored in Psychology with a minor in Women's Studies. She graduated Cum Laude and with Distinction in Psychology. She obtained her doctoral degree from Wright State University, School of Professional Psychology. She has worked at multiple college counseling centers, a group practice treating individuals with chronic pain, and an eating disorder treatment facility. She has specific interests in treating individuals with infertility difficulties, general depression and anxiety, relationship difficulties, sexual dysfunction, eating disorders, and people experiencing significant medical concerns. Dr. Pawloski is a current member of the Ohio Psychological Association.

Therapy Process:
Making the decision to begin therapy is not a weak decision, to be honest its the exact opposite. It requires a great deal of courage to take that first step. For that reason, Dr. Pawloski's goal as a therapist is to create an enviornment in which individuals feel safe exploring their difficulties and strengths while reaching their goals. She strives to create an environment that is comfortable and inviting. The first session is usually the one in which she actively takes notes. After the initial visit, note-taking is reserved for after the session ends to offer a more conversational therapy style. She uses humor approriately throughout treatment to encourage openness and discussion. A typical session lasts roughly 45 minutes in length.

Dr. Pawloski accepts most insurance plans. If you do not find your insurance listed below, please call the office to inquire. At times this can be remedied by Dr. Pawloski's phone call to your insurance company. Dr. Pawloski is also willing to discuss self pay options if you do not have, or are unwilling to utilize, insurance.
